Sexton Blake is one of the most written about characters in the English language. For the greater part of the 20th Century, he was a household name and a publishing phenomenon, starring in nearly five thousand fantastic stories written by over two hundred authors. Meet Sexton Blake — Detective! >
A Word from the Skipper
It's been a long while since BLAKIANA was last updated. This is due entirely to me having focused on writing novels since 2009. For a beginning author, it takes a fair amount of time to turn the new profession into a paying concern—and it can only be achieved by putting everything else to one side. However, I've weathered the difficult early phase, and have, at last, achieved a measure of security—enough that I can now give Sexton Blake a little more attention!

ZenithLives! An anthology of new Zenith stories from Obverse Books!
For much of the first half of the twentieth century, the detective Sexton Blake appeared to be a cross between Sherlock Holmes and James Bond, as he foiled super-villains and evil geniuses time and again in the pages of boys comics. Foremost amongst those villains was Zenith the Albino, an opera cloaked gentleman with a taste for danger and excitement and little thought for personal safety. Obverse Books is proud to present new Zenith adventures from some of Blake’s biggest and best known fans!
With new Zenith stories from Michael Moorcock, Paul Magrs, George Mann, Mark Hodder and Stuart Douglas.”

The name BLAKIANA is used by permission of the Editor of the Collectors' Digest, Mary Cadogan. Articles about Sexton Blake appeared in that magazine under the BLAKIANA heading for 60 years, alongside a great deal of other fascinating material concerning the "old boys' papers" of years past. Regretably, the Collectors' Digest ceased publication in 2008. This website is dedicated to all the men and women who contributed to it during its long lifetime.
This is the most detailed Sexton Blake bibliography in existence. The MASTER LIST is a straightforward listing. The year-by-year links below provide a detailed view, including reviews, issue notes and cover scans.
